LSBU Group is a family of education providers, led by London South Bank University. We work to a shared educational framework across secondary, further, higher education and beyond.
We’re here to banish the idea that you need a certain kind of background to succeed. To break the cycle of social inequality from one generation to the next. And to give everyone – whoever they are, wherever they’re from – the skills and self-belief to get the future they want.
We are seeking to appoint a programme manager to oversee the implementation and development of our Access and Participation Plan (APP). Our APP contains our commitments to widening access and participation, and ensuring the best outcomes for our students. It also reflects the work that we do in schools and colleges, both to encourage greater participation in higher education from underrepresented groups, and also how we seek to support schools to improve outcomes for students in pre-16 educational settings.
The APP Manager will be employed by London South Bank University, and line managed by our Associate PVC Education and Student Experience. However, you will also be working with diverse colleagues across our institution, as well as having opportunities to collaborate with South Bank Academies and South Bank Colleges.
You will be responsible for overseeing the activities contained within our APP, and ensuring that reports and evaluation outcomes are reported to relevant boards and committees on a regular basis. You will be supported to develop and grow your own external network in this area, and to take up opportunities to share good practice with the wider sector.
